2017年长沙理工大学中国政府奖学金申请办法

为增进中国人民与世界各国人民的相互了解和友谊，促进中国与世界各国在各领域的交流与合作，中国政府设立奖学金，资助世界各国优秀学生、教师、学者到中国的大学学习或开展研究。长沙理工大学是承担中国政府奖学金生培养任务的高校之一。目前我校参与的自主招生项目有：支持地方奖学金项目。

1.奖学金类别及学习期限

►硕士研究生奖学金，学制3学年

►博士研究生奖学金，学制3学年

注：我校大部分专业使用汉语授课，部分专业可使用英文授课。凡汉语授课的奖学金生如汉语水平未达到入专业学习要求者，来华后须先进行1年的汉语补习，考试合格后方可入专业学习。

2.奖学金涵盖的内容

奖学金涵盖注册费、学费、实验费、实习费、住宿费、生活费、来华留学生综合医疗保险费。生活费标准为硕士研究生3000元人民币/月，博士研究生3500元人民币/月。

3.申请人资格

►非中国籍公民，且身体健康

►非在华学习的学生（留华毕业生毕业年限须超过一学年）

►学历和年龄要求：

来华攻读硕士学位者，须具有学士学位，年龄不超过35周岁

来华攻读博士学位者，须具有硕士学位，年龄不超过40周岁

►未获得其它任何奖学金资助

5.申请和录取程序

►登陆中国国家留学基金管理委员会来华留学网上报名信息平台http://laihua.csc.edu.cn注册用户名，建立个人账号；

►登录系统后，请阅读“在线申请指南”，并按照步骤进行操作；

►点击“下一步”按钮，选择申请“中国政府奖学金”；

►点击“下一步”按钮，按要求填写个人信息。请注意“机构代码”是在线申请过程中关键的部分之一，它位于“个人资料”下面的第一栏空白处，长沙理工大学的机构代码是10536。请确保填写正确，否则您将无法继续在线申请；

►点击“下一步”，请按照页面左侧列出的步骤填写在线申请表格，确保信息的真实、正确和完整性。注意：申请人须选择学科，然后选择专业。有关学科和专业的信息，请通过点击“帮助”下载相关资料进行查询；

►完成申请表格后，请预览并在线提交；

►点击“下载申请”按钮，下载已完成的申请表格，打印两份；

►准备好其他所需材料，然后将所有申请材料（一式两份）寄至长沙理工大学国际学院学生工作办公室；

►长沙理工大学组织校内专家对申请人进行评选，并报送湖南省教育厅和中国国家留学基金委员会审核；

►录取后，长沙理工大学在http://www.csust.edu.cn/pub/gjjl/网站上公布奖学金获奖学生名，通过邮件通知奖学金获得者本人，并在每年6月底前寄发《录取通知书》和《签证申请表》（JW201）。

6.申请材料

汉语授课项目申请材料

►《中国政府奖学金申请表》；

►经过公证的最高学历证明、毕业证书或学位证书的复印件。如申请人为在校学生或已就业，需另外提交本人就读学校出具的在学证明或就业单位出具的在职证明。中、英文以外文本需附经公证的中文或英文的译本；

►申请攻读硕士学位者，须提供经过公证的大学阶段课程成绩单；申请攻读博士学位者，须提供经过公证的硕士阶段课程成绩单。中、英文以外文本需附经公证的中文或英文的译本；

►不少于800字的中文或英文来华学习和研究计划；

►两名教授或副教授的推荐信。用中文或英文书写，并请推荐人签名；

►申请学习美术专业的学生，须提交本人作品光盘，包括2张素描画，2张色彩画，2张其他作品；

►HSK考试成绩证书复印件，或汉语水平证明材料复印件（如果有，请提供）；

►公开发表的学术论文、所获专利或其他研究成果（如果有，请提供原件或复印件）；

►新近的白底背景、护照尺寸照片2张，并在照片背面写上申请者姓名和报考专业名称；

►有效普通护照复印件；

►《外国人体格检查记录》复印件（原件自行保留）。此表格由中国卫生检疫部门统一印制，仅限于来华学习时间超过6个月者，须用英文填写。申请人应严格按照《外国人体格检查记录》中要求的项目进行检查。缺项、未贴有本人照片或照片上未盖骑缝章、无医师和医院签字盖章的《外国人体格检查记录》无效。鉴于检查结果有效期为6个月，请申请人据此确定本人进行体检的时间。

注：以上材料一式两份。无论申请者是否被录取，所有申请材料将不予退还。

英语授课项目申请材料

►《中国政府奖学金申请表》；

Application Instruction for CSC Scholarship, Changsha University of Science & Technology

In order to promote the mutual understanding, cooperation and exchanges in various fields between China and other countries, the Chinese government has set up a series of scholarship programs to sponsor international students, teachers and scholars to study and conduct research in Chinese universities. Changsha University of Science & Technology (CSUST) is one of the universities designated by the China Scholarship Council to receive sponsored foreign students, offering a wide variety of academic programs in Education, Economics, Science, Engineering, Legal Studies, Management, Literature, Philosophy, Fine Arts, etc. for scholarship recipients at Chinese University’s Independent Enrollment Program level.

1. Scholarship Categories & Study Duration

►Scholarship for master’s degree programs for 3 academic years

► Scholarship for doctoral degree programs for 3 academic years

Note: The instruction language is mainly Chinese. Applicants are required to take one-year Chinese language course prior to the academic study if their Chinese is not qualified enough for the program study. Only by passing the examinations after the Chinese language course, can they start their academic studies. English-taught program are also available, please check it on CSC website.

2. Scholarship Coverage & Criteria

Scholarship holders are exempt from registration fee, tuition fee, laboratory experiment fee, internship fee, fee for accommodation on campus, and are provided with Comprehensive Medical Insurance for International Students in China.

Note:Monthly living allowance is granted to the students through the host institution at the following rates (CNY Yuan per month):

- Master’s degree students: CNY 3,000 Yuan

- Doctoral degree students: CNY 3,500 Yuan

3.Scholarship Eligibility

► Non-Chinese citizen in good health

► Not a student in any Chinese universities or schools at the time of application

► Education background and age limit

—Applicants for master’s degree program scholarship must have bachelor’s degree, under the age of 35.

—Applicants for doctoral degree program scholarship must have master’s degree, under the age of 40 years.

► Not sponsored by any other kind of scholarship.

5. Application & Recruitment Procedures

► Log on to the official website http://studyinchina.csc.edu.cn/#/register , register for username and password before logging into the system.

► Finish the online application. PLEASE NOTE THAT YOU SHOULD CHOOSE AND MARCH THE AGENCY NO. OF CSUST, i.e. 10536.

► Preview the application form after finishing it and then submit it online.

► Download the finished application form by clicking the button “DOWNLOAD APPLICATION” and print it out for two copies.

► Prepare other supporting documents as required and mail the full package of application documents to Office of Student Affairs, International College, Changsha University of Science & Technology.

► CSUST organizes expert panel to appraise the documents and make a proposed list of applicants, and then reports to Hunan Provincial Education Committee and China Scholarship Council for final appraisal and approval.

► Getting the approval, CSUST announces the result at the website ofhttp://www.csust.edu.cn/pub/gjjl/ and informs the successful applicants by the phone number and email address in the application. Please don’t use gmail.

► CSUST posts Admission Notice and Visa Application Form (JW201) to the successful applicants directly by July.

6.Application Documents

Application Documents for Chinese-taught Programs

► Application Form for Chinese Government Scholarship;

► Photocopies of attained highest diploma, graduation certificate or diploma certificate. University students or employed applicants should provide proof of studying or employment. Documents in languages other than Chinese or English must be attached with notarized translations in Chinese or English;

► Photocopies of the previous academic transcripts. Applicants for doctoral degree program scholarship need to provide photocopies of their master study transcripts. Applicants for master’s degree program scholarship need to provide photocopies of their undergraduate transcripts. Transcripts in languages other than Chinese or English must be attached with notarized translation versions in Chinese or English;

► Study or research plan in Chinese or in English (no less than 800 words);

► Two recommendation letters in Chinese or English from professors or associate professors. Recommendation letters should have the signatures of professors or associate professors);

► CD of works. Applicants for fine arts must submit a CD of their own works (including two sketches, two color paintings and two other works);

► Photocopy of HSK certificate or other certificates of Chinese proficiency (if any);

► Published academic papers or other academic achievements (original or photocopy if any);

► Photocopy of the applicant’s passport;

► Photocopy of Physical Examination Record for Foreigner (The applicant keeps the original for future visa application). The form issued by Chinese quarantine authority can be downloaded from http://www.csc.edu.cn. The medical examinations must cover all the items listed in the Physical Examination Record for Foreigner. Incomplete records or those without the signature of the attending physician, the official stamp of the hospital or a sealed photograph of the applicants are invalid. The medical examination results will be valid for 6 months. All applicants are kindly requested to take this factor into consideration as they plan to take the medical examination.

NOTE:All documents should be bound together on top left corner in order（You should submitTWO setsof bound documents）. No application documents will be returned.
