Recently Vice President of CUST, Prof. Fu Hongyuan received Prof. Godmann from Germany on Yuntang Campus and two sides had a cordial meeting and exchanged in-depth views on the issues such as renewable energy and environmental protection. 

On behalf of CUST, Vice President Fu Hongyuan extended a warm welcome to the distinguished guest and briefed CUST first. He said that CUST is an engineering-oriented multi-disciplinary university that has been laying great emphasis on international education. Prof. Fu also introduced the researches conducted by CUST in the field of recyclable energy and renewable energy, hoping that this visit could bring more cooperation opportunities in this area. Prof. Godmann expressed his gratitude for the warm reception of CUST then he introduced his research and achievements in the fields of  solar photovoltaic power generation and renewable energy. He also pointed out that the issue of energy is a concern of the whole world and many nations attach great importance to this issue so the related research institutes and companies have a long way to go and the market potential is incredibly huge.  Prof. Godmann expressed his willingness to cooperate with CUST to establish a laboratory of solar  photovoltaic power generation. Prof. Fu agreed with Prof. Godmann in this connection and hoped that the cooperation would start as soon as possible. The meeting ended in a harmonious and friendly atmosphere. The meeting was also attended by the Deputy Director of International Exchange Division, Deputy Director of Science & Technology Division as well as some leaders and teacher of School of Energy and Power.

Prof. Ing. Andreas Gerhard Goldmann is a professor of Technische Universität Berlin and he is also the CEO of AGR SOLAR AG company and a well-known expert in the field of renewable energy worldwide.
