Professor Zou Hongru, deputy-president of CSUST, paid a visit to the Chinese consulate in Edinburg and welcomed Professor Stuart Gibb from the University of Highlands and Islands as an honorary professor and presented him a certificate of employment.

Meanwhile, the two universities signed a memorandum of cooperation to promote teaching and research, which was highly recognized by local authorities and widely covered by local main media.
