
On the afternoon of October 16th, Dr. Anthony Drew, manager of International Relations of Faculty of Business and Law from the University of Newcastle in Australia, was invited to visit CSUST. Dr. Wu Di Long, director of International Office, Prof. He Yunlong, vice dean of School of Economics and Management and teacher representative from School of Economics and Management were present at the meeting.
The two sides began by introducing basic information of each school to each other. By comparing disciplines settings, talents cultivation and other aspects of respective schools, the two sides explored the possibilities to conduct bachelor's, master's and doctoral joint education program with dual degrees, reached a preliminary cooperation intention, and agreed to sign an MOU as soon as possible. After the completion of courses matching in the business-related majors, the two sides will officially sign the "2+2" double-degree undergraduate joint education program agreement.
It is reported that the disciples of business and tourism service of University of Newcastle in Australia rank within the world's top 100. In the near future, CSUST students will have the opportunities to study and get a degree in this world-renowned university by the joint education programs.
