报告摘要:In this talk, we will present an adaptive rescaling boundary integral scheme for investigating the dynamics of interfaces in Hele-Shaw problems. The approach involves mapping the current time-space onto a new frame, where the interfaces evolve at a selected speed. We will also explore the multi-interface Hele-Shaw problem, where the traditionally highly branched morphologies are replaced by more stable structures. In these new configurations, phenomena such as finger-tip splitting and finger competition are notably suppressed due to the interactions between the interfaces. By adjusting the multi-interface setup, we can accelerate the emergence of self-similar limiting shapes in the shape-control concept.

报告人简介: 赵蒙,华中科技大学数学与统计学院,副研究员。博士毕业于伊利诺伊理工大学,主要研究方向是偏微分方程的数值计算和数值分析,包括流体力学,材料学,生物数学等领域中界面问题的数值方法。
