周华成:Output regulation for an unstable wave equation

报告内容: In this talk, we discuss the output regulation of an unstable wave equation subject to disturbances generated by an exosystem. The main challenges are that there is a destabilizing boundary condition and the scalar tracking error is the only measurement signal available to the controller. To illustrate our approach clearly, we first use a simple example of an ordinary differential equation. Then we adopt the backstepping method and internal model principle to obtain the desired error feedback controller which solves the output regulation problem of unstable wave equation.
