| Guoqing Zhang is a rofessor in the Faculty of Engineering and the director of supply chain and logistics research center,UniversityofWindsor. His recent research interests include optimization in supply chain management, logistics, algorithms design and development, and portfolio optimization. His research is sponsored by external grants such as NSERC (5 rojects) and CFI. He has published over 40 articles on those areas in journals such as Computational Optimization and Applications, IIE Transactions, European Journal of Operational Research, Computers and Operations Research, and Operations Research. Dr. Zhang is an editorial board member of Journal of Remanufacturing, International Journal of Applied Logistics, and中国管理科学. He served on International Activity Committee of INFORMS from 2012 to 2014. He has served as a consultant to several world leading companies on Automotive, Energy, and Foods industries.Dr. Zhang and his team recently won he first place in the Canadian Operations Research Society’s (CORS) Practice Prize competition for their project “Modelling of he Air Cargo Network Flow Optimization.
