报告人简介:Dr. Fei He is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the Department of Engineering Science at the University of Oxford, working on tidal renewable energy resource assessment. He is also an Adjunct Research Fellow at the University of Western Australia. His academic path is uniquely diverse, beginning with a bachelor’s degree in food science and engineering, followed by a disciplinary transition into coastal engineering at the master’s level, and culminating in an Australian-Government-funded PhD in environmental fluid mechanics at the University of Western Australia (UWA), where he completed a thesis accepted without correction (a distinction achieved by fewer than 0.1% of candidates). Dr. He has secured approximately £365,000 in funding through 14 research projects and merit-based awards. His research focuses on environmental fluid mechanics and fluid–structure interaction, spanning groundbreaking fundamental studies, highlighted by four publications in the Journal of Fluid Mechanics and Geophysical Research Letters in 2024, as well as industry-focused applications in nature-based coastal protection, scour protection, and marine renewable energy.
